Tree Services at Northern Meadows Property Owners Association
At Northern Meadows Property Owners Association (NMPOA), we prioritize the health and aesthetic quality of our community’s landscaping. Our tree care services are designed to maintain the beauty, safety, and environmental health of the community while adhering to the guidelines set forth by the Association’s governing documents.
Our Tree Maintenance Services
The following tree maintenance services are provided as part of the NMPOA’s landscaping care:
- Tree Pruning & Shaping
- Trees are pruned to maintain their natural form, keeping sidewalks, streets, roofs, and pathways clear. This is done following proper horticultural practices to promote healthy growth.
- Watering & Fertilization
- Trees will be watered to ensure adequate moisture at the root zone, using irrigation systems tailored to plant needs.
- Fertilization is applied as needed to promote healthy growth, addressing any deficiencies in macronutrients.
- Tree Removal & Replacement
- As part of ongoing maintenance, dead or damaged trees are promptly removed to ensure the safety and visual appeal of the community.
- Replacement trees are selected from the community approved plant list, ensuring they are suitable for the local climate.
- Tree Sucker Removal
- Regular removal of tree suckers is performed to prevent unnecessary growth and maintain the aesthetic of the landscape.
- Seasonal Pruning
- Pruning tasks are performed seasonally, including removal of frost damage and shaping to ensure healthy tree structure.
Additional Information
- Maintenance Responsibilities: In alignment with the Association’s CC&Rs, the NMPOA is responsible for maintaining the front yard landscaping, which includes trees, of each lot in the community.
- Request for Non-Maintenance: Homeowners who do not wish to receive landscape maintenance on their front yard may submit a request to opt-out, and the Association will honor these requests.
- Cost for Damage Caused by Homeowners: If tree-related maintenance is needed due to negligence or willful acts by the homeowner, including family members, guests, or invitees, the cost will be assessed to the homeowner and secured by the Association’s Assessment Lien.
- Trimming Outside the Scope of the Contract: If additional tree trimming is required that falls outside of the landscaping maintenance contracted services, homeowners may submit a Mojo Ticket to have the landscaping contractor review the request. The contractor will assess the need and determine the next steps.
